Situation
Project for master’s level course: K-12 Online Learning & Teaching
Task
- Create a HyFlex course unit – students can choose to attend either in-person, remote synchronous or remote asynchronous on any given day
- Use Moodle LMS as the online platform
Action
- Choose to create an ELA course unit that met NYS 8th grade ELA standards and correlates with the NYS Learning Standards for Social Studies framework
- Developed a three week unit with full lesson plans for one week as well as all supporting materials including worksheets, rubrics, discussions, assignments and assessments
- All student and teacher materials are available in Moodle
